Johnny McGovern who is famously known as "Gay Pimp" is an American singer and a stand-up comedian, who himself is gay have successfully crossed-over to the pseudo-mainstream introducing songs such as "Soccer Practice", "Dream Boi, Cream Boi" and "Lookin Cute/Feelin Cute". They're a particular favorite for dance clubs of mixed crowds.
His chosen screen name meant as a lighthearted response to hyper-masculine heterosexuals and the seeming obsession of the gay men with projecting butchness.
